Mich Dulce, a young Filipino designer, is also on international business. I just learned that she has a store opened in the UK. I first knew about Mich Dulce when she became a housemate in the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition; she was, in fact, one of my favorite celebrity housemates. She was introduced as a socialite and a young designer. After the show, I hear that Mich Dulce launched her collection in Manila, Philippines and was attended by many professional and well-known Filipino designers, celebrities, socialites and fashion icons. Her first major launch was a success and it was featured on many news shows and fashion magazines. Having a good foundation in fashion, as evident by her being an apprentice with established designers like Marjan Pejoski and Jessica Olgen, and after pursuing further education at Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design, London College of Fashion and Fashion Institute of New York, Mich Dulce proved herself as one of the fast-growing young designers in the Philippines fashion industry as she won and been nominated on many awards on fashion and entrepreneur basis.
She started her independent career designing clothes, and then now she also designs hats. Her designs are rare and very unique, vibrant, colorful and young. It's definitely hard to find a similar on other collections. Her collections stir people's mind in a good way. Even when she was still inside the Big Brother house, she has shown a very unique way of dressing up. Her creations are resemblance of her personality.
Here are some of Mich Dulce's 2011-2012 Autum-Winter Collection:
