How to Choose the Right Shade of Lipstick for your Skin Tone
Ladies, we all know that one essential cosmetic product we all must have is the LIPSTICK. This magical stick can transform from simple to glamorous. As much as it can build our beauty, it may also break our image.
Choosing the right lipstick is very important. Just because a certain color is "in" does not necessarily mean you have to run to the nearest cosmetic store, buy one, and put it over your lips. There are many things you need to consider and one of those things is balancing it with your skin tone.
Here are some tips you need to consider in choosing the right lipstick shade according to your skin tone:
1. Light Color Skin Tone These includes skin shades ivory, porcelain, nude
-Red Wine shades & Coral
-Pink Matte
-Chocolate & Caramel shades
NEVER: Orange Fuchsia
2. Medium Color Skin Tone These include Skin Tones beige & Sand
-Caramel Brown
-Peach, Rose, Pink
-Warm shades of red, rust
NEVER Fuchsia
Light brown
Pale
3. Dark Color Skin Tone These include Olive, Tan & Early Tan skin tones
hahaha i know i have a medium tone, but i sometimes wear a pale shade just cos i am such a rebel to colors HAHAHAHA! but thanks for the tips!!! good thing i have those shades that are recommended for my skin tone!
you can use light caramel brown instead of the typical pale lipstick... this guideline is just base on skin tone.... i think choosing right lipstick shade base from occasion and eye shadow color is different... I honestly did a lot of mistakes in terms of choosing lipstick shade from the past...But i'm on the right path now... HAHAHAHA!! :p
